Intellectual property
eLEA.to is a commercial name used by Nexint Systems, S.L.. The eLEA.to wordmark, the design of this site and its written content belong to Nexint Systems, S.L., except where another source is credited.

Privacy
Who is responsible
Nexint Systems, S.L., at the address above, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For data protection questions, write to dpo@elea.to.
What we collect, and why
This website collects personal data in one place only: the contact form. When you use it we receive the name, email address, institution and — if you choose to give them — role, country and discipline you enter, together with the content of your message, the time of submission and the IP address the submission came from.
We use that information for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and to carry on the conversation you started. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a), given by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry (art. 6.1.f). We do not use it for marketing, we do not build a profile from it, and we do not sell or share it for any third party's marketing.
The IP address and timestamp are retained for a short period for one narrow reason: they are what allows the form's rate limiting to work and to distinguish an enquiry from automated abuse.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Enquiries are stored on servers within the European Union and in the mailbox of the person who replies to you. We keep them for as long as the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, so that we can pick up a thread you started; after that they are deleted. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so on the same working day.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider and email provider process the data on our instructions, under contracts that meet the requirements of GDPR art. 28. Production hosting for the eLEA.to platform is provided by Scaleway in EU regions. We do not transfer enquiry data outside the European Economic Area.
Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to dpo@elea.to. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew it, and we will stop processing and delete the enquiry unless we are required to keep it to defend a legal claim.
Automated decisions
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling on this website, within the meaning of article 22 of the GDPR. No decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is taken about you by automated means.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to dpo@elea.to and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, aepd.es) or, in Catalonia, to the Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT).
A note on the platform
This privacy notice covers the eLEA.to website. Where an institution uses the eLEA.to platform, that institution is the data controller for its students' and staff's assessment data, and Nexint Systems, S.L. acts as data processor under a separate data processing agreement. The terms of that agreement, not this page, govern that data.
Cookies
This site uses two cookies, both strictly necessary, and no analytics or advertising cookies of any kind:
elea_lang— remembers which of the three site languages you chose, so you are not sent back to English on every visit. Expires after one year.PHPSESSID— a session cookie used only to protect the contact form against cross-site request forgery. It is deleted when you close your browser.
Because both are strictly necessary for a service you have explicitly requested, neither requires consent under article 22.2 of Law 34/2002. We do not load third-party trackers of any kind, and the web fonts are served from this domain, so loading this page makes no request to any third party at all.
Liability and external links
We take reasonable care that the information on this site is accurate, but it is provided for information and does not form part of any contract. Descriptions of planned functionality are labelled as such and are not a commitment to a delivery date. Where this site links to a third-party site, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
This notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from the use of this website is subject to the courts of Barcelona, unless a mandatory rule of law — including the consumer protection rules that allow a consumer to sue in the courts of their own domicile — gives jurisdiction elsewhere.
Changes
We will update this page when what we do changes, and the date below will change with it.
